From coal to concrete: Our beginnings
After the Pike River mining incident, Wade, one of our directors, moved to Christchurch, bringing with him a strong work ethic from his history in coal drilling and mining. He learned the concrete cutting trade from the ground up, eventually taking over the business with Shannon. As two small business owner-operators, we pour our hearts into our work. We're committed to being fair, reasonable, and honest – offering good people, good prices, and a good product.

Meet the passionate people behind Aztec Concrete Cutting
Wade, a talented and creative individual, brings his passion for carving stone, painting, and drawing to everything he does. Originally from the West Coast, he loves nature, fishing, and hunting. Recently, he even carved the Matariki stars into a concrete feature wall for a grand design home in Fendalton. Shannon, from the Chatham Islands, shares a similar love for hunting and fishing, embodying the hard work and dedication that drives our business.
